In this case, we are amazed that we have never had a chance to savor Flor de Cana 12 Year before, but that has now been rectified.
In addition to sipping and discovering this rum, we made a point to pick up an extra bottle to set on the shelf for later as it was obvious that this was one of our new favorites. There are plenty of strong mixers on the shelf but so few that are worthy of sipping alone, and Flor de Cana 12 Year is one of them.
