This is where we come at you with a completely honest opinion and I’ve got to tell you, this is the bottle that surprised us the most. Partially because of the extremely lowered expectations of an inexpensive rum, topped by it being a light rum… we were floored when the sip granted the flavor burst it did and the sweetness we experienced.
Initial thoughts were about the harshness of the nose, but if you allow it to breathe, and then forgive that first reaction, Cruzan Aged Light Rum will surprise you by not only being a great mixer for all your favorite rum cocktails, but a moderately good sipper as well. Not our first go-to on any list, but certainly better than expected.
